I had the challenge of designing rooms that I had never seen before. I learned with God, all things can be accomplished. I had to completely rely on him for guidance or I would have panicked. I think of each individual that was on this trip and they each played a special part in the outcome of this project. Each had a tallent or skill or just plain willingness to work. I praise God that he worked the schedule out so my son and I could be a part of this blessing. I have also learned that there is no set amount of time needed to become a friend, sister or brother with a child. It can happen in an instant when you have the love of Jesus! I miss you La Vida children, always remember how special and loved you are!

One week later…

From one crazy kid (ME) to all you crazy kids (even the adults) at LVM, I HAD TONS OF FUN WITH ALL OF YOU!

Nizhoni, Chay (who has a beautiful first name), Jessica (the silent one), Saquoira, Hozhoni, Shanna, Grayson (Mr. Cool), Jessie (the Protector), Damien, Dominic (the lyrical poet!), the MIGHTY Thor, Neverending Smiling Gabriel…. To all of you there (and those I could not remember you names, sorry), I really enjoyed being there with you guys! I sure wish we could have went on the SHARK tooth hike on the plateau nearby.

I look forward in coming back to visit with you guys, hopefully this time we can have more fun with each together. We will have to do the tied dyed T-shirts again, this time we won’t dry them together. Some of my favorite shirts, Nizz and William, lost there brightness and clarity they had originally. Sorry about that… my fault really.

It was truly a pleasure getting to know all of you. I only wish we had more time to spend with each other. We must make a point to do more together… maybe we can all go to Chaco Canyon. I really love your cultural heritage, be proud of it always. If you are able to speak your native tongue, PLEASE don’t lose it, it is truly a gift that you have…practice it.

LOVED IT, WOUlD LOVE TO COME BACK ANYTIME
